TLC...terms, love & conditions

DELIVERY & COLLECTION

All hired items are collected from & returned to our studio by the customer or a nominated contact. If you require the hired items to be delivered to & collected from the nominated location, please advise at the time of booking. Delivery fees apply. Please note, not all deliveries can be facilitated due to distance or fully booked delivery schedule. For weekend hire (Friday, Saturday or Sunday) - items will be collected or delivered by Friday and returned on Monday, unless otherwise arranged. For weekday hire (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) - items will be collected by the customer or nominated contact on the hire day or day before & returned the following day.(subject to local public holidays). Pricing is for self-set up only, our signs are lightweight and easy to use. They can be hung with the S-hooks provided or fishing wire via the pre-drilled holes. Installation instructions will be provided with the hire where necessary.

PAYMENT & BOOKING

Depending on your specific needs, we are happy to arrange extended hire depending on the length of time you require the sign and/or props. Given the limited number of products we have available, we are unable to reserve or hold products and dates until full payment is received. Your booking date is only confirmed upon receiving full payment of the invoice.

 

PRIVACY POLICY

Iconic Events is committed to the protection of your privacy and security. We respect that your privacy is important to you and that you have a right to control your personal information. Any personal information you provide us with, including and similar to your name, address, phone number and email address will not be released, sold, or rented to any entities or individuals outside of Iconic Events. The only time we would share your contact information is when we refer your business to our other clients or when our suppliers are handling the production of your artwork containing your details.

DAMAGES & LATE RETURN FEES

By placing, confirming and paying for a hire booking with Iconic Events Melbourne, you are agreeing to the following conditions. If any/all of the below conditions are not met, the customer agrees to be charged a $100 Damages Fee:

1. All hired item/s will be returned in original working condition & original packaging - including all power cables, transformers, hooks and any other accessories supplied by Iconic Events.

2. All hired item/s will be ready for collection at the arranged time and place or delivered back to Iconic Events on the arranged time and date.

3. All hired item(s) will be returned on the arranged dates by either a courier, the customer or Iconic Events, depending on the hire arrangement.

Iconic Events will assess the condition of the hired items within 48 hours of the hire item returning to Iconic Events, and you will be notified of the outstanding Damages Fee if Iconic Events deems it necessary.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

The following cancellation policy applies to all neon sign and signage hires. Due to the popular nature of the signage a cancellation fee of $50 will apply for all cancelled bookings. You will be refunded the remaining hire fee & security bond within 48 hours of cancellation confirmation with Iconic Events staff. Due to the current global pandemic (COVID-19) if Government & State restrictions are enforced during your hire period, preventing you from hosting your event - a full refund may be provided.

FAULTS

Faults must be reported to Iconic Events immediately in the earliest possible instance. Faults due to the misuse of the equipment will result in the security deposit being forfeited to cover repairs. Our neon signs are handmade so sometimes there will be small marks on the acrylic or glue marks where the neon has been attached to the acrylic. These marks are rarely evident and visible when the light is on. By accepting these terms you are recognising that these marks are not a fault.

 

AGREEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES

By placing, confirming and paying for an order/hire period through Iconic Events Melbourne, you are agreeing to all terms and conditions stated in this Hire Agreement, the provided Terms & Conditions document and throughout the www.iconiceventsmelbourne.com.au website. You understand that Iconic Events reserves the right and sole discretion to make amendments to the terms and conditions at any time. You accept the above information and agree to the terms Iconic Events has set out and stated above. You understand that your order is not finalised & hire dates not secured until full payment is made. You understand that by paying the invoice you are agreeing to the terms and conditions, agreements on GST, shipping and additional charges (if applicable) and details of the order. You understand Iconic Events is not responsible for any installation of the neon signs or equipment.  A booking of a third party for installation will render the terms and conditions of the third party to be applicable. I understand that any advice provided on installation is a recommendation only and Iconic Events will not be liable for any installation errors or any event that causes injury or death from one of the neon lights or signage. I understand that Iconic Events is not liable for the misuse of Iconic Events signs after purchase. I understand that my Iconic Events design is to be used indoors only and not subject to any weather. I understand that payments are transacted through third party dedicated gateways to guarantee buyer protection. Card information is not collected by Iconic Events and all card information is handled over SSL encryption. I understand that all personal information collected by Iconic Events is kept confidential and used only for the purpose of fulfilling your hire request.  Please ensure that you read the terms and conditions for your chosen payment method. These Terms and Conditions have been construed under Australian Law and apply to all individuals, businesses or companies (Client/s) engaging the services and products of Iconic Events, its contractors, subcontractors and employees (the Company). By entering this website and purchasing products or services on this website I am agreeing to all of the stated terms and conditions.

 

I also acknowledge, agree and understand that misuse or any contravention of any law within the State or Territory in which the equipment is being used in accordance with the terms of this Hire Agreement will result in further costs being incurred by me in accordance with the provisions of this Hire Agreement as my hire rate will have to change and will be charged a Damages Fee.
